This calculator focuses on business days, not just calendar days. It lets you see how many working days fall between two dates. You can choose to exclude weekends (with customizable weekend patterns) and optionally add holidays to exclude.
Instead of counting manually on a calendar, the tool automatically removes non-working days based on your selected weekend pattern (for example, Saturday–Sunday or Friday–Saturday). You can also choose whether to include the end date in the count.
This is useful anytime you care about actual working days: project schedules, SLAs, compliance timelines, or anything where weekends don't count.

Standard Monday–Friday Workweek
From January 1, 2025 to January 31, 2025, excluding Saturdays and Sundays, you get only the working days in that month rather than all 31 days.
Including the End Date
If a task starts on March 1, 2025 and is due on March 10, 2025, you can include the end date to see how many usable workdays are available until the deadline.
Custom Weekend Pattern
For regions where Friday–Saturday is considered weekend, selecting that pattern adjusts the workday count automatically between the same two dates.
With Holidays
If you mark public holidays inside the range, the calculator removes them from the workday count even if they fall on weekdays.
The workday calculation follows a straightforward process based on the standard Gregorian calendar. First, the calculator determines the total number of calendar days between the start and end dates, accounting for leap years and varying month lengths.
Next, it identifies and excludes all days that match the selected weekend pattern (e.g., Saturday–Sunday or Friday–Saturday). If holidays are specified, those dates are also excluded from the workday count. Holidays that fall on weekends are still tracked but don't affect the workday count since weekends are already excluded.
Finally, depending on your preference, the end date may or may not be included in the final workday count. The result provides a clear breakdown showing total days, weekend days skipped, holidays skipped (if any), and the final workday count.
